Maryland State Senator Catherine Pugh had a vision to create a high school in Baltimore where students could learn fashion design.

Her concept evolved and working in collaboration with Maryland Institute College of Art President Fred Lazarus, and Baltimore architect Steve Ziger, the project manifested into a new middle and high school focused on Fashion Design, Architectural Design, and Graphic Design.
